Darren started playing in 1989 his first residency was ASYLUM in Woolwich Poly, he then went on 2 play at various parties in London . In 1991 Darren went to live in Tenerife spain were he worked with Mr C, C J Mackintosh, Matthew B, Riccardo from KLF and Frankie Bones, on his return he began 2 get booked for RAGE playing upstairs along side Micky Finn. He then went on to become a resident at the infamous AWOL teaming up with Randall, Kenny Ken, Micky Finn, Dr S Gachet and MC GQ. It was then that Awol released live at the Ministry of Sound, which became part of the Jungle explosion that kicked off around this time. As a result Darren found himself a regular at such events as DESERT STORM ,ROAST ,VIP BASH, DREAMSCAPE, WORLD DANCE, JUNGLE FEVER, ONE NATION, HELTER SKELTER, UNITED DANCE, THUNDER N JOY and just about any jungle party or club that was happening.

Darren then went on to become a frequent visitor to Toronto working for Sirus, Big Bud and Pleasure Force making some 35 appearences in Canada to date. Darren has also been regular in GERMANY, HOLLAND, FRANCE, SPAIN, POLAND, AUSTRIA as the drum n bass scene has grown world wide. Darren has toured the USA and AUSTRALIA CANADA many times . Back home you can catch Darren at INNOVATION, WARNING, FABRIC, HYSTERIA, COCOSHEBEEN, SLINKY, BREAKING SCIENCE, BEST OF BRITISH MINISTRY OF SOUND.

Darren also has vast experinece of working in the music business in the 90's he mixed the 140bpm compilations for Moonshine Music and hand picked all the records that appeared on the MCA Total Science collection. Darren and the founder of Blackmarket Records 'Rene' went on to start Mecca Recordings, having three top Twenty hits with Phoebe One and also winning a MOBO for best British Hip Hop. On the production side of things Darren produced many records on Tone Def records and was involved in the Barry Boom remix with Micky Finn and Aphrodite. Darren has also since won the DIESEL-U-MUSIC AWARD award for best Hip Hop album, Troublesome Waters, with MC Riddla and Bob Sonic.

Bob started in music by playing the drums and constantly listening to different styles of music until he found rap music which seemed to capture what Bob was waiting for. After collecting music for years he then stumbled upon rave music which then later turned into Jungle/Drum & Bass. He went out to many events and followed certain Dj's and began to Dj at home and at several house parties. 1997 seemed to be the year that would change Bob's path, making music at a home studio seemed to be what he like doing best and after a few years he was introduced to Micky Finn and Darren Jay shortly after that. Darren Jay and Mc Riddla came into a studio session one evening as planned and Bob was played two tracks that were done as a demo for Mc Riddla for a potential album. After the evening session it was agreed that Bob would produce a couple more tracks for Riddla and as it happened ended up producing the rest of the album "Troublesome Waters" alongside of Darren Jay.

They then became the production team "Jay Sonic Productions", Bob has never looked back since then, he has been fortunate enough to work with many artists including: Mc Navigator, Mc Fearless, Mc Riddla, Dj Majistrate, Micky Finn, Tc Islam (Son of Afrika Bambaata), JB & JB Feat. The Game, Special K, Nyika, Choose One and Pav.

As a production team they have had their successes also which include: Winning Hip Hop album of the year 2005 for Diesel-U-Music, they have had tracks played on Radio 1, Kool Fm, Keen Fm and by Kenny Ken, Micky Finn, Dj Sappo and more.

Bob continues to produce music with Darren but is now more involved in the running of Wide Open with Darren and they hope to make a big impact with the new studio and band rehearsal room next door.

Riddla found himself hooked on the scene back in 91' it was shortly after that he decided to make an impact on the scene by writing lyrics and being one of the countries best M.C.s.By '95 he started a long but triumphant road to success.With this Riddla had 2 monthly residencies for Subbass and Evolution which was a huge rave at the Sanctury. By 96' Riddla had exploded with his new found talent. New years eve going into '98 Riddlas official debut @One Nation, This was the moment which sent Riddla into his professional M.Cing career. He was booked forDesire & Telepathy and european gigs in France & Germany and had a residency in Bristol for Fire &Ice. He also received a special guest show on London's,Kool FM. Riddlas is famed for his explosion of lyrics which has placed him up there with the best of the best in the U.K.

Modular has been DJing and producing music for over 15 years. You may have known him as Stomp, one half of Stomp & Weaver, together they released 25 + commercial releases and had support/radio play from DJ's like John Peel, Kiss FM, Hype, 1 in the Jungle (Wilber), Outrage, Double O and L Double. Modular has had releases under Stomp on labels like Flex, Hardleaders, WOM, Mix & Blen, Mecca, Ft Recordings, Hyper Records and of course their own Lab Logic. Over the past few years Modular has been working in other areas of the industry as a music tutor and senior web developer for companies like Access to Music college and Black Market Records, but now he is back on the music flex with some fresh beats. Modular is also working on a new project with Outrage and is also working on the new dto4music site which will have a real launch in Feb featuring mp3 downloads, podcasts, dj mixes and more.
